Salvation Army Concert
Friday 24th April and the Band join forces with the Worthing section of the Salvation Army to perform in the Citadel in Worthing.
The concert kicks off with “The Thunderer” with both bands nearly rasing the roof!, the first half then continued with Les Miserables, Somewhere out there, Lion King and Lord of the Dance from DWYCB and The Salvation Army playing Music from the Royal Fireworks, El Senor, Londonderry Air and Shalaom. The first half concluded with Godspell featuring the singing of Maria Ventura Paul.
After a well earned break, the performance continued with DWYCB playing The Incredibles, The Godfather, Shrek Dance Party and the difficult but now mastered! Medley from Queen. The salvation Army performed I will follow him, Dance before the Lord and Make his praise Glorious.
The concert concluded with a fantastic rendition of “Music” played by both Bands during which I am sure the roof did rise off a little!!.
